Check the vehicle's history

Evie Transact checks the seller's vehicle records: reported stolen, written off, registered owner, money still owed, accident and insurance history. Each result shows as verified, failed or not available.

Reserve it with a deposit

The buyer pays a deposit to hold the seller's vehicle for a set time. It goes into a settlement account at a licensed bank or payment partner, never to Evie Transact. If the deal does not go ahead, it returns to the buyer on the agreed terms.

Confirm the vehicle

The buyer has a set time to confirm the vehicle matches the listing. An independent inspection is optional.

Sign the sale agreement

Both people sign the sale agreement online. It covers the price, the vehicle's condition, the handover, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Pay in full

The buyer pays the full amount into the settlement account, never into a personal account. Both people can see the payment is confirmed, and neither can move it alone.

Hand over and change ownership

When the buyer confirms handover, the money is released from the settlement account to the seller. Evie Transact tracks the ownership change to completion, and both people get a full record.
